5:00 PM – Remarks at Dallin Museum
5:30-7:30 PM – Reception at Whittemore Robbins House, 670R Mass. Ave., Arlington (across the street)
This fun summer evening event will celebrate the completion of a major exterior restoration of the museum’s building. The Soiree will raise crucial funds to address high priority goals for the coming year, including expanded education programs for the Arlington Public Schools and the restoration of the Museum’s historic interiors. Proceeds will also provide much-needed support for collections care and operations.
Soiree guests will enjoy an exclusive look at the museum’s beautifully restored exterior. This $200,000 project was made possible by the fundraising efforts of the Museum’s nonprofit. (Read more about the restoration here.) This festive summer evening will feature performances by violinist Coleen Bennett, flutist Elaine Huff, and harpist Tess Epperson Maxwell. Guests will also enjoy gourmet hors d’oeuvres and desserts, wine and beer (cash bar), and a silent auction.
